WORKSHOP ON POLITICAL ECONOMY

Bruneck|Brunico, 9-10th November 2023


The Sixth UniBZ Workshop on Political Economy will be held at the NOI Techpark Bruneck-Brunico on Thursday 9 November and Friday 10 November 2023.

The workshop aims at bringing together scholars studying the economic causes and consequences of political phenomena and institutions.  We encourage submissions of theoretical and empirical papers from economics and political science, with a particular emphasis on topics related to:

  • Political economy and geography
  • The political economy of transportation and infrastructure
  • The political economy of populism
  • The political economy of conflict
  • The political economy of reforms

The keynote speaker this year will be Massimo Morelli (Bocconi).
